The John Deere X354 is the 4-wheel-steer model of the X300 Select Series, engineered for homeowners with intricate landscaping who need a 42-in. cutting tractor that can trim tightly around trees, flower beds, and fence corners. Its 4-wheel steering produces a 15-in. uncut circle radius – almost half the 26-in. circle of equivalent 2-wheel-steer models – eliminating most of the need to back up when trimming.

Power comes from a 21.5 HP (16.0 kW) iTorque™ V-Twin engine with 44.3 cu in. (726cc) displacement, featuring air cooling, cast-iron cylinder liners, overhead valves, full-pressure lubrication, and a dual-stage air cleaner. The Tuff Torq® K46 hydrostatic transaxle with Twin Touch™ two-pedal foot control lets you change direction without lifting your foot from the platform.

The 42-in. Accel Deep™ mower deck is forged from 12-gauge stamped steel with a deep, flat-top design optimized for airflow, cut quality, and clean performance at faster mowing speeds. An 18-in. cut-and-sewn seat makes long jobs comfortable.
